Our Story
Why Shooters Choose Franktown
We have spent over a decade building a facility that serious shooters actually want to come back to. Our range is clean, well-lit, and maintained to a standard you will notice the moment you walk in. We don’t cut corners on safety equipment, ventilation, or target systems.
Our retail showroom carries a rotating selection of new, used, and consigned firearms alongside a solid inventory of ammunition and accessories. As a licensed FFL dealer, we handle transfers for firearms purchased online — a service Douglas County shooters use regularly.
For those looking to build real skills, our certified instructors offer pistol and rifle training designed for Colorado shooters at every level. CCW certification and renewal classes are available year-round and can be booked at range.recoilfun.com/classes.

Our Team
Our staff are Colorado shooters themselves — not a corporate team reading from a script. We’ve watched this community grow since 2011 and we’re proud to be part of it. Stop in and talk to someone who actually knows Colorado firearms law and the gear we stock.
